Boju Irin, in Yoruba means ‘metal mask’. This unique piece was created with 1.5” thick birch wood as a base, painted with acrylic paint. There is a mixture of repurposed and patinated metal that is hand cut and manually nailed to the wood.

The piece is finished with an archival layer of fixative to ensure it’s longevity. The wood pieces are finished with felt on the back, and are ready to hang.
